Shoegirls (teaser two-sheet)

Actually, I think it's more of a four-sheet, but whatever.

One of the concepts that I started for the Dazaholics contest, but then let go because the parody wasn't really coming through, and it doesn't quite work as a film teaser poster on its own. Honestly, it reads more like a teaser for a shoe repair store. Which is kind of what it is -- the idea is that the film itself was about some women cobblers who take Las Vegas by storm by repairing shoes for showgirls and showboys. Couldn't get the body curve version to work the way it should, and even if I had, it would have undermined the concept to do a direct read of the poster that way. Plus the group has enough naked or scantily clad women anyway.

It's not a bad concept, just ... possibly not entirely baked yet. (Although the other version is very well baked, so to speak. More on that later. But you might want to look up Showgirls posters just to be prepared. Only, you know, not at work.)
