Based on a friend of my mother's from when I was a kid. Lost a leg in Korea, I think. I wonder if that would be easier or harder to do now? I have a vague memory that, with people who were comfortable, he took his leg off because the prosthesis itself was painful to wear. Seem to remember lots of straps and things that new style prostheses don't have any more.

There are actually two instances of Askance's C-Legs in the scene; the first one is attached but invisible, because it provides the geograft closure on the limb. Seriously, that is some really good work.

Set is Collective3D's Modern Home Exterior 2, with light from one of Dimension Theory's HDRI sets. And we've met Zena, her younger brother Zere and ... that guy with the leg before. (I guess he's technically named Hugo Patrick Zed David -- head morphs and body shape [David 3 for Genesis]. Hugo works, I guess.)
