Yes, yes, I'll stop now. Anyway, one of my more normal (for me) character test renders.
Featuring, from left to right, Malakai, Yasuo and Kasper for Lee 6. Malakai with Kung Fu Hair (...really?), Yasuo with Kang1hyun's Real Short Hair and Kasper with his own painted hair mat. And, of course, everyone with REAL Hairy elsewhere. Everyone's HD morphs turned off for this to save on render time -- although that said, for no reason I could figure out, it still took 20 minutes longer to do this one than the first set of Lees.
No huge surprises on the characters. I did wind up slightly tweaking the materials so that Subsurface was down to 25%, as this particular light set seriously exacerbates the "characters glowing in the dark" issue if it's much higher. And it does seem that one defining characteristic of the Lees is abdominals for days. Every single one of 'em has at least an eight-pack!
Kang1hyun's Real Short Hair is fibermesh, which is one of the reasons I'd hesitated to purchase it earlier. Beautiful Black and Paul Hair are the only fibermesh hairs I've got that render in anything like a reasonable amount of time, but I finally gave it a shot. It's got some small issues at the hairline, where there's a bit too much space between individual hairs, so I used 3Dream's Boy Hair underneath as a skullcap, which filled in the gaps well enough. Beyond that, RSH is shockingly fine yet easy to render. That said, it should never be used with Advanced Ambient without additional lights and flagging its surfaces, because otherwise it turns into a lovely glossy helmet.
Other than that, they look like they'll be interesting to use.
